World of Warcraft Gold Guide Tip #2

Here’s one I haven’t tried yet, but the Warcraft Gold Guide claims it can get 30-60 gold an hour.

Dark Iron Mining – used for crafting high end items and to gain reputation with the Thorium Brotherhood. The best place to mine Dark Iron is in Blackrock Depths.

When you enter Blackrock Depths, use lockpicking or the Shadowforge key to open the door to your left. Go straight ahead into an area called Dark Iron Highway. Kinda makes sense this would the place you mine Dark Iron.

There are a lot of dark iron spawn points in here and according to the guide, you should be able to hit one or two each time. All you have to do is mine the ore, leave, reset the instance, and do it over again. A rogue or druid should be able to stealth in and a hunter can feign death to escape the mobs around the ore. Other classes might need some support to keep the mobs off while the mining takes place.

Since you are reseting an instance each time, the mob and ore locations will vary. Sometimes, it will be smooth sailing to get to the ore and mine it, other times, there will be some many mobs between you and the ore that reseting again is the best idea.

Dark Iron mining can usually get 20-40 dark iron ore per hour. Since 1 piece of Dark Iron Ore sells for between 1-4 gold , that can add up quickly. Also, there is a chance for a Blood of the Mountain drop when mining. So rare that it goes for 30-100 gold. Even if you only got one of those a day to go with 20 iron ore, you would be looking at 50 g for your hour of time.

The Gold guide has a color map of all of the mining points and the best route to take. I’m certainly going to try this technique out when I get the chance.

Tips from the World of Warcraft Gold Guide

I promised I would try to give out a couple tips from the Warcraft Gold Guide I picked up so here you go. This one some of the guys in my guild knew already, but it was new to me.

Defias Windmill is pretty good spot to do some gold farming at just about any level. If you go to the Gold Coast area in Westfall, there is a windmill on a hill. Below the windmill, you can see a murloc camp. Surrounding the windmill are a TON of Defias Trapper mobs. Since these are humanoids, they will drop a lot of linen cloth and other good loot. They normally spawn around level 12 or 13 so they aren’t too tough.

The key is that the respawn rates of the mobs are insanely fast. I took one of my higher end characters there and couldn’t clear the area before more respawned. I eventually had to stop because my character was worn out and I was too. I left with stacks of linen and almost a bag or two full of lower level green items. All of these fetched a nice price at the auction house.

This spot also worked well for some of my middle level guys as well since they could grind away for experience and pick up some decent items that could be sold later.

This was the first I had heard of this spot, but it wasn’t too crowded on the server I was on, so the secret might not be out…..yet. Farm it while you can.

I’ll see if I can find another good tip from the WoW Gold Guide. There are over 100 pages in the guide, so finding a good tip shouldn’t be hard. I can’t give them all away, but maybe one more to get the gold flowing.

The Best World of Warcraft Gold Guide

I picked up this guide the other day after hearing a lot of good reviews from members of my guild. The WoW Cash Creation Guide has already helped improve my gold creation in just a few days. Granted, I'm not sitting around doing nothing and making gold, but it's greatly enhanced my gold making efforts. I'm now making in one hour what I was making in 3 or 4 hours previously. Not a bad tradeoff.

The guide is $37, but considering how much gold sells for on the internet and the risks involved (the company you are buying from actually giving you the gold and the risk that Blizzard might ban your World of Warcraft account), I'd rather take my chances earning my own gold. I've bought gold before online and always felt a little bad about it since I was spending MY money for money in a game. Now that I've gotten this guide, I don't have to worry about buying gold ever again with any of my characters.

I'll try to share a few tips from the guide in the near future. Just don't let the author know I told you about them, ok?

WoW Gold Guide for Low Level Horde Players

Ok, maybe this won’t help every Horde race, but it will get Trolls and Orcs going in the right direction.

Become a Journeyman miner and pick up a mining pick. There are tons of Copper veins in Durotar. These are great for mining. Once you’ve got a bunch of ore, head to the forge and smelt them into bars. Bars tend to sell better than raw ore. Head to Ogrimmar and visit the Auction House. Check the price for copper bars before you list anything for sale. I’m usually able to get a minimum of 45 silver pieces 20 copper bars, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. A sneaky trick is to set your buyout price slightly lower than most of the other ones. This improves your chances of selling your bars and making some coin.

Disenchanting your Way to World of Warcraft Gold

A buddy of mine was telling me the other day about how he makes some decent gold in World of Warcraft as an Enchanter. He said he went to the Scarlet Monestary and disenchanted every blue item he got. He told me that most of the items dropped Small Radiant Shards (which are fairly popular on his server) that he was able to sell for a good amount of gold (he said 20-30 pieces for 10). He said the rest of the items disenchanted into Large Glowing Shards, which are key ingredients for adding damage modifiers to two-handed and one-handed weapons. He said he was able to get on average about 3-4g per Shard. In one run, he was able to make about 40 g from selling the Small Radiant Shards and the Large Glowing Shards. He said the run took him 45 minutes to complete.

40 g for 45 mins of work? Not a bad return. If anyone has had a similar experience in the Scarlet Monestary, let me know.

Quick WoW Herbalist Guide

Here is a quick WoW Herbalist Guide for someone who is just starting out.

1 – Undead, Humans, and Taurens make the best herbalist since their starting areas are filled with herbs you can pick.

2 – Use Find Herbs most of the time to locate Silverleaf. It usually grows under trees or in shady areas.

3 – Collect some stacks of Silverleaf and then go to the Auction House. You should be able to make a decent profit on each stack. I’ve had some people say that they can get 1 gold for a stack, but I’ve never been that fortunate. I’m happy getting 20-30 silver for a stack. Always check to see what a stack is going for at the auction house on your server before investing too much time in collection.

How to Make Gold in World of Warcraft at Early Levels

1 – Choose Skinning and either Herbalist or Miner as your professions. If you are starting as a night elf, then herbalist is the way you want to go since there are no mines in the night elf starting area. Miners tend to be a little more profitable than Herbalist. You can’t be both a Miner and Herbalist since the radar will conflict.

2 – Try to get 6 slot bags as fast as possible. Easier said than done, I know. Some might drop as loot and others can be bought from tailors.

3 – Create a second character, a mule, near the Auction House town. Early on, this is Ironforge for the Alliance, so a dwarf or gnome would be the best race. Humans and Night Elves have to do some traveling to get to Ironforge.

4 – Once your cash flow is good, you can drop one of the gathering professions for a crafting profession.

5 – Try not to buy unneeded items and skills early on. They can put a hole in your money supply. Better to save up and get the items/skills when they can be used better.

Easy World of Warcraft Gold Making Tips

1 – Choose Mining and Skinning as your two professions. Killing animals is pretty easy to do while you are out grinding and questing. Mines are fairly easy to find in World of Warcraft, so taking a little time to do some mining and then selling off the ore is a good way to make easy gold. You can sell the gold or skins to either merchant or at the Auction House.

2 – Questing is a good way to get gold and items, especially early on. Since many quests offer a choice in rewards, you can choose what item you want. Your choice can be based on an item that will help your character out or an item that will sell for a high price.

3 – As much as I like to get the best gear for my characters, I’ve found that spending money on it early on is a waste. Save the money and use the loot and rewards from quests to equip your character for the first 40 levels or so.

4 – If you want a better chance at getting gold, focus on killing humanoids. They tend to drop gold and items moreso than other creatures in World of Warcraft.

I’ve found these wow gold making tips to be helpful when starting out. It’s good to get the gold flow going early rather than getting to a certain point in the game and realizing you don’t have enough gold for your epic mount.
